Tail Lift Engineers required to cover a multitude of positions working in and around London, Essex, Kent, Surrey, and Sussex.

The ideal candidates should have at least two years experience of working with tail lifts and be able to perform LOLER thorough examinations, servicing and Weight testing to be considered for the position. Coverage of an on call rota is required, but flexible hours are available and shift work will be considered.

The ideal candidates will have a “can do” attitude and must have good fault diagnosis in vehicle electrics and have a sound understanding of hydraulic fault finding with tail lifts Welding skills are preferable.   • Drive and/or operate ground support equipment which may include vans, aircraft steps, hi-lift vehicles, water/lavatory service trucks
  • Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor/manager
  • Comply with all UK/Ireland/EU legislation as well as airport authority and carrier security requirements
  • Comply with RSS Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all time
  • Other duties as assigned

Baggage Handler

This position is based at London Heathrow Airport.
We are urgently recruiting for Baggage Agents to work for an internationally renowned ground handling company, based at London Heathrow Airport.

Please note this role requires full UK driving license with no more than 3 points

Applicants need to be prepared to work a mixture of early and late shifts between the hours of 04:30 – 22:00, Monday to Sunday, as well as bank holidays.

Successful Baggage Agents can expect to receive:

The main duties of a Baggage Agent will involve:
  • Loading and off-loading of baggage to and from the aircraft
  • Transporting baggage to and from the arrivals and departure halls
  • Driving vehicles across airport terminals.
  • Handling outsize baggage
  • Working in accordance with Health and Safety regulations
  • Performing any other operational or administrative duties required by the team leader or senior management
The essential requirements to be successful as a Baggage Agent include:
  • Basic manual handling
  • The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • The ability to work well within a team
  • The ability to work in a physically demanding role and perform manual handling duties
  • A full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points

Successful applicants must be able to provide a 5 year checkable history for airside security and referencing purposes. You will also be required to apply for a basic Criminal Record Check at your own expense.
